TP-Link RE605X AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender
The TP-Link RE605X is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 range extender that boosts wireless coverage into areas where a router’s signal runs weak. It connects wirelessly to an existing router and delivers combined speeds of up to 1201 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, using the newer 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard for greater device capacity and reduced congestion. A Gigabit Ethernet port lets wired devices like smart TVs, game consoles, and desktops connect directly to the extended network.
The RE605X supports TP-Link OneMesh, which links it to a compatible OneMesh router to form a single Wi-Fi network name across the whole home. As a result, there’s no need to manually switch networks when moving between rooms. An intelligent signal light helps identify the best wall socket for placement, and the TP-Link Tether app allows setup and ongoing management from a smartphone. This extender suits homes and small offices in Kenya that need broader Wi-Fi coverage without replacing their existing router.
