TP-Link TL-WA860RE 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender with AC Passthrough
The TP-Link TL-WA860RE is a wall-mounted Wi-Fi range extender designed to boost signal strength and, therefore, eliminate dead zones in homes and small offices. It connects wirelessly to an existing router and, as a result, extends coverage into rooms the main network can’t fully reach, delivering speeds of up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz. Unlike standard extenders, however, it includes a built-in AC passthrough socket, so plugging it into a wall outlet doesn’t waste that socket for other devices. Meanwhile, its two external antennas improve coverage and reliability, while a single Ethernet port, in addition, lets it double as a wireless adapter for wired devices such as game consoles and smart TVs.
