TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor Access Point — AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi for Indoors & Out
The TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor Access Point is a dual-band AC1200 Wi-Fi access point for homes, businesses and open spaces. It spreads coverage across yards, patios and warehouses using 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO. As a result, several devices stay connected at once, without the drop-outs of a stretched indoor router.
A rugged IP65 enclosure lets the EAP225-Outdoor run through rain, dust and heat. Additionally, it slots into TP-Link’s Omada SDN platform, so you manage one AP or a hundred from a single dashboard. Because it accepts standard 802.3af PoE, one Ethernet cable handles both data and power.

Where the TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor Access Point Fits
This AP suits any space where Wi-Fi needs to reach beyond four walls. A cafe or hotel, for instance, can cover its patio and garden so guests stay online outside. Warehouses and yards use it to blanket loading areas that indoor routers can’t reach.
Schools and campuses deploy several units under Omada for seamless roaming across grounds. For homes, the EAP225-Outdoor extends coverage to a garden, garage or outbuilding. However, if you need a long directional link between two buildings rather than area coverage, a directional CPE is the right tool instead.
