The TP-Link CPE510 Outdoor CPE is a 5 GHz wireless bridge for long-range links on a clean, uncrowded band. It carries up to 300 Mbps beyond 15 km, using a built-in 13 dBi directional antenna. As a result, WISPs, campuses and remote sites get a stable point-to-point link where 2.4 GHz would struggle with interference.

A weatherproof enclosure and surge protection let the CPE510 run outdoors year-round. Additionally, TP-Link’s Pharos MAXtream TDMA technology sharpens throughput and latency on point-to-multipoint links. For installers running several units, Pharos Control manages configuration and monitoring from one dashboard.

This unit suits long links where the 2.4 GHz band is too congested to stay stable. Two CPE510s form a point-to-point bridge between buildings across a town, for instance, without the noise of nearby Wi-Fi. WISPs also use one as a 5 GHz access point feeding subscriber CPEs across a clearer spectrum.

The choice between this and its sibling comes down to band. The CPE510 works best where line of sight is clear and interference is the main risk.
